“One day, said to me, you know, you look all stressed, and I was and she goes, You ought to try breath work. I go, girl, I've been breathing for 58 years. I do not need your situation totally. And she goes, try, lady, try her on Zoom. One time, only one time. I said, Okay, so I got on zoom with this friend of hers. I was like, let's get this. Okay, we got one hour, and then I'm gonna, you know, get on. And she goes, lay down. So I laid down, put your hand on your belly and put your hand on your chest. Okay. Now follow me. I go, okay. Shows lower belly. Fill up your lower belly halfway your high chest and out. After 10 minutes of doing that, I literally exploded in tears, sobbing. I got up, I go, what was that like? I wasn't sad. She was, Oh, good. There it is. Good girl. That was stress. Okay, thanks again. I was like, what? So I walk out of there, Drew. It's like someone took a squeegee to my brain. I had weird clarity. I get to work the next day. I get a pile of papers to study. 430 in the morning, when you're fuzzy, everything's landing, everything's landing, everything's landing. I go, what happened? One breathwork session did a clearing and a stress release that changed a little bit of my just how I absorbed information, how I walked through the world. It was small. It was free. I mean, once you know how to do it, you just do it. And it gave me clarity and energy. So I was curious. I go, that was amazing.”
"I was a publisher for yoga magazine for five years, and I did an article on pranayama breathing, you know, the breath that we do with the nadis and things like that. I did a whole article on that, but nothing about polytropic breath work, and this type of breath work where you could have this psychedelic experience, nothing like that came across. It is still very new, and I recommend anybody to try it, because it's just your breath.”

Breathwork this Friday, Nov 21 - 5:30p in Waikiki at Royal Shopping Center - Rooftop- Validated Free Parking, $39
